Solar for a school or academy
Yes, but with one caveat no other premises has: a school is closed for the summer holidays, which fall in the months of highest generation. Without net metering a large share of the year's best output is produced into an empty building, and payback suffers badly for it.

The holiday problem, stated plainly
Peak generation and the long summer break coincide. For weeks the array produces at its best while the building consumes almost nothing. No other customer type has this pattern so sharply, and it is the single most important fact in a school's solar decision — yet it is routinely absent from the quotation.
Net metering is not optional here
Because of that overlap, exporting the holiday generation is what makes a school's numbers work at all. A school considering solar should treat the application as a precondition rather than an add-on, and should check sanctioned load against the proposed system size before ordering anything.
A weekday, daytime load that otherwise fits well
During term the match is excellent: fans and lights across classrooms all day, offices, a computer lab, water pumping. Almost all of it happens inside generating hours, so term-time generation is consumed live at the top of the tariff. It is genuinely one of the better load profiles once the holidays are handled.
Sizing to the term, not the peak
Size against annual billed units with the holiday months included as the low-consumption periods they are. A system sized to a busy term month will spend the summer exporting heavily, which is fine with net metering and wasteful without it. The two decisions are linked and should be made together.

Can solar run the fans in every classroom?
Fans are a modest load individually and a substantial one in aggregate across a large school, but they run in daylight, which suits solar well. Is a battery worth it for a school?
Usually a small one at most. Teaching happens in daylight, so an outage during school hours is covered by the array itself if the system is configured for it. Backing up an empty building overnight earns little. Where a battery earns its cost is a boarding facility or a school with significant evening use.
Rather have it done?
On-grid is cheapest and dies with the grid. Off-grid runs independently but needs a battery bank sized for the worst week of the year. Hybrid does both and is what most Islamabad households actually want. Choosing between them changes the price more than any other decision on a solar quote.
