Camera security
Camera security, in plain words and PKR
Which camera suits which position, how much resolution a gate or a counter really needs, what an installed system costs in rupees, and how to trace a fault before calling anyone. All of it comes from jobs we fit ourselves, from the H-15 workshop out across Islamabad's sectors and Rawalpindi.

A camera where it actually helps
Every position starts as a pencil mark on the survey plan — sight-line checked, power confirmed, cable route agreed — before anyone drills the wall.
- Survey before quotation
- Conduit, labelled both ends
- App tested before we leave
CCTV Installation
CCTV installation means a free survey of your shop, office or home, a camera plan that covers gates, counters and blind corners, cabling run through conduit, a recorder sized for the days of footage you want, and phone viewing working before handover.

Security Camera Repair

Home Security Cameras
Home security cameras for an Islamabad house usually cover the main gate, the boundary wall, the car porch and the front door — four to six cameras with night vision, a recorder placed inside, and viewing on the family's phones.

Business CCTV Systems
Business CCTV is built around the counter, the entrance, the stock area and the back door, with storage long enough to catch problems you only notice at stocktake.

IP Camera Installation
IP camera installation runs each camera on a single Cat6 cable that carries both power and video, delivering 4MP or sharper images that hold detail when you zoom.

CCTV Maintenance
CCTV maintenance is a scheduled check that your cameras still focus, your recorder still writes, your hard drive still has life in it and your phone app still logs in.

Picking the right equipment
- Dome cameras: what they cover well and what they miss
- Bullet cameras: detail at a distance on walls and gates
- PTZ cameras: one moving eye, used properly
- ANPR cameras: reading number plates at the gate
- How much camera resolution you actually need
- CCTV storage: sizing the drive to the days you need
- Night vision: reading infra-red ratings honestly
- Wireless CCTV: where skipping the cable makes sense
- Solar CCTV for places without mains power
- DVR or NVR: picking the recorder that fits
- IP cameras: what a network camera changes
- PoE: one cable for power and picture
Head-to-head choices
- Dome or bullet camera — which goes where
- DVR or NVR for your recorder
- 2MP or 4MP — where the extra resolution pays
- Wired or wireless CCTV
- CCTV or a burglar alarm first
- Cameras or a guard — the honest costing
- Cloud or local recording for CCTV
- Analog or IP cameras for a new system
- Motion-only or continuous recording
- Choosing between the big CCTV brands
- Installing CCTV yourself vs calling an installer
- Buying CCTV outright vs monthly plans
When something stops working
- One camera has gone black
- The system has stopped recording
- Phone viewing has stopped
- Night footage is washed out or black
- The recorder will not power on
- The picture flickers or rolls
- The picture has slowly turned hazy
- The app never stops alerting
- A clip will not export
- Locked out of the recorder
- A camera is no longer aimed where it should be
- The system is misbehaving after an outage

Where we go
Our workshop is at Motorway Chowk in H-15 and both cities are home ground: any Islamabad sector and any Rawalpindi address gets a free survey and usually a same-day slot. Far phases of Bahria Town and DHA add a PKR 1,000 travel line, Wah Cantt and Taxila run on scheduled days at PKR 2,500, and longer trips — Murree, Gujar Khan, Attock, Chakwal — are quoted before you book, never after.
Every area we cover112 topic pages and 6 services — 125 pages in this cluster, each one written for its own subject rather than a swapped-in place name.
