What we check before selling one
A spring service costs a fraction of an emergency callout in a heatwave — and it is why our AMC clients' units survive the summer.
Before the first hot spell — February to April. By mid-May every technician in the twin cities is running a waiting list, and by June a routine clean has turned into an emergency callout with a queue in front of it. A spring service from PKR 4,000 is the cheapest visit on this whole site.
Nine times out of ten it is a coil too dirty to move air, or refrigerant lost through a slow leak. Both are ordinary jobs with known prices. Now and then it is the control board or the compressor — bigger money, and we quote it before touching anything, not after.
For a room you cool June to August, usually yes — a bench-tested reconditioned split from around PKR 55,000 does that job well. For the main room running all season, inverter efficiency makes a new unit the better sum. We publish the eleven checks we run on every used unit; hold any seller to the same list.
Yes, and we ask for the landlord's or building management's written permission before any drilling or bracket work — standard practice in Islamabad plazas. In high-rises the building usually dictates where the outdoor unit may hang, so we survey first and quote the real pipe run.
