CCTV maintenance in Islamabad and Rawalpindi

CCTV maintenance is a scheduled check that your cameras still focus, your recorder still writes, your hard drive still has life in it and your phone app still logs in. Monsoon humidity and summer heat are what quietly kill Islamabad systems. Annual cover for a shop or house starts at PKR 15,000.

Cameras inspected and cleaned

Housings and seals are checked — especially after the monsoon — lenses cleaned, and focus corrected. A film of grime costs you the detail you paid for long before anything actually breaks.

Playback proven, not presumed

We pull week-old footage from every channel. A live view full of pictures says nothing about whether the recorder has been writing, and the silent-failure system is the one that hurts most.

Drive and power readings taken

Drive health and running hours are logged, and power adapters are checked for the heat stress Islamabad summers put on them, so worn parts are replaced on our schedule instead of failing on theirs.

Access reviewed, report issued

Passwords and app logins are reviewed, firmware updated where safe, and you get a short written report of what was found and what was done at each visit.

What the price covers. PKR 15,000 a year covers two scheduled visits for one site with up to eight cameras, plus priority callout in between. Larger camera counts, multiple branches and quarterly-visit plans are priced per site, and parts are always quoted separately before fitting.

Questions people ask

The system works fine. Why would it need maintenance?

Because the way CCTV fails is invisible. The monitor keeps showing live pictures while the drive died or the schedule got switched off, and the failure is discovered on the one day footage is needed. Maintenance is somebody proving playback works, on a calendar, before that day arrives.

Do the monsoon rains affect cameras?

Yes, more than people expect. July and August humidity finds every tired seal — moisture fogs the lens from inside, and wet glass throws the infra-red back at night, turning the picture into a white haze. A post-monsoon check catches seal failures while they are still a cheap gasket rather than a dead camera.

What does the plan not cover?

Parts. The plan buys inspection, cleaning, verification and priority response — replacement drives, cameras and power supplies are quoted separately when needed, at plan-holder rates. Physical damage and lightning strikes are also outside the plan, and we say that upfront rather than in small print.
