IP camera installation in Islamabad and Rawalpindi

IP camera installation runs each camera on a single Cat6 cable that carries both power and video, delivering 4MP or sharper images that hold detail when you zoom. It suits offices, schools and larger Islamabad homes, and grows cheaply once the recorder and switch are in. Four channels installed start around PKR 110,000.

Network design before any drilling

We plan the PoE budget, the switch position and the cable paths on paper first, and keep the cameras on their own network segment so footage traffic never slows your office and a compromised laptop cannot reach a camera.

Cat6 pulled, tested, tagged

Every run is tested end to end at the patch panel before a single camera goes on a wall. A bad crimp found on the bench costs a minute; found at the top of a ladder it costs an afternoon.

Cameras mounted and the NVR dialled in

Resolution, frame rate and retention are set per channel to match what each camera watches — a gate needs different settings from a corridor — instead of one default across the board.

Remote access locked down and handed over

Strong passwords, remote viewing on your phones over mobile data, and a walkthrough of playback and export. You leave holding the admin credentials, not us.

What the price covers. PKR 110,000 covers four 4MP IP cameras, an NVR, a PoE switch, storage and Cat6 cabling for a typical office or large house. Each camera after that costs little more than the unit and one cable run, because the switch and recorder are already paid for.

Questions people ask

Is IP overkill for a small shop?

Often, yes. A shop with four cameras and short runs gets everything it needs from a good analog kit at PKR 55,000 to 85,000. IP earns its premium where runs are long, camera counts will grow, or you need to read a face or a number plate from the recording. We will tell you which side of that line you fall on.

Can the cameras just use my WiFi instead of cables?

They can, and we advise against it for anything you rely on. WiFi cameras drop when the router reboots, the signal dips or the band gets crowded, and a security system that pauses is not a security system. We cable every fixed camera; wireless is reserved for spots that genuinely cannot be reached.

Does recording stop when the internet goes down?

No. Footage is written to the NVR sitting in your building, so recording carries on regardless of the connection — the internet is only needed to view from your phone. This matters in plazas with shared connections that fail regularly, and it is the reason we do not recommend cloud-only cameras as your primary system.
