Buying CCTV outright vs monthly plans
Buy the system outright and add a maintenance contract — over three years that combination beats a monthly plan for almost every small business in Islamabad, and the equipment stays yours. Monthly arrangements make sense mainly for cash-flow at opening or multi-branch rollouts, and most keep ownership with the provider.

Run the three-year numbers
A 4-camera package at PKR 55,000–85,000 plus an AMC from PKR 15,000 a year totals well under most monthly plans over the same period — and at the end you own working equipment instead of a cancellation clause. Rental pricing is built for markets where labour is expensive; at Islamabad installation rates the ownership maths tilts hard toward buying outright.
Read who owns the hardware
Many monthly agreements keep the cameras and recorder as the provider's property. Stop paying and they collect the equipment, leaving drilled walls and dead conduit behind. For a rented shop in a markaz that already needed landlord permission for the install, going through that twice is a genuine cost. If a contract does transfer ownership, ask after how many months and at what buyout figure.
When monthly genuinely fits
A new business preserving cash for stock in its first quarter, or a chain fitting ten branches at once where the capital hit is impractical — those are the honest cases. Even then, compare against a bank-financed outright purchase before signing, and confirm you can exit without losing the footage history stored on the provider's equipment or in their cloud account.

Do you offer a monthly payment option?
We sell systems outright — Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank transfer — with maintenance contracted separately from PKR 15,000 a year, so the hardware is yours from day one.
What does the annual maintenance cover?
Scheduled lens cleaning and re-focus, recording and drive-health checks, firmware updates and priority callout — the difference between a system working in year three and one that stopped in year two.
Rather have it done?
CCTV maintenance is a scheduled check that your cameras still focus, your recorder still writes, your hard drive still has life in it and your phone app still logs in. Monsoon humidity and summer heat are what quietly kill Islamabad systems. Annual cover for a shop or house starts at PKR 15,000.
