CCTV cable cost in Islamabad

PKR 150 to 250 per metre installed is a fair Islamabad rate for CCTV cabling — the cable itself, PVC conduit, fixings and labour — whether coax with power or Cat6. On any system bigger than one room, cabling outweighs the cameras on the invoice, and it is the line that decides how long the system lasts.

Concealed, surface, and who gets to choose

Chasing conduit into plaster costs more and disappears; surface PVC costs less, goes in faster and unclips cleanly when a lease ends. In plazas and rented sector houses the choice is often made for you — building management and landlords approve clips far more readily than chases — and surface conduit done neatly is entirely respectable. What is not respectable is bare cable stapled along a wall.

Monsoon-proofing is part of the cabling job

Every outdoor joint goes in a junction box with a drip loop, and exposed runs get UV-rated conduit. Joints wrapped in insulation tape are the fault we are called to more than any other after the rains — they survive the first monsoon and fail during the second, always at the camera you most wanted working. Doing it properly at install costs a few hundred rupees per joint.

The cable already in your walls

Existing coax in decent condition can carry modern HD analog cameras up to 5MP, which turns an upgrade into a fraction of a rewire. But 'decent condition' is a measurement, not an assumption — we test each run before promising reuse, because a crushed or corroded run discovered mid-job costs more than honest news at the survey would have.

How much does CCTV cabling cost in Islamabad?

Why is cabling the biggest line on my quote?

Because it is nearly all labour, and it is where reliability lives. Saving money on cable does not avoid the cost — it defers it into repair call-outs.

Can my electrician pull the cable to save money?

Yes, and it genuinely helps on new construction. Agree the routes and cable specification with us first so every run terminates where a camera can actually use it.

Rather have it done?

CCTV installation means a free survey of your shop, office or home, a camera plan that covers gates, counters and blind corners, cabling run through conduit, a recorder sized for the days of footage you want, and phone viewing working before handover. A four-camera 2MP package in Islamabad or Rawalpindi runs PKR 55,000 to 85,000 fitted.
