A rented home or office needs the entrance, the car gate and the lobby or stair covered with minimal drilling: surface trunking instead of chased conduit, and mounts that come off cleanly. Permission before the drill
Islamabad landlords and plaza managements generally allow cameras but expect to approve the routes — a short written note covering positions and cabling protects the security deposit at exit. In shared plazas the corridor outside your door may belong to the building, so a camera watching it needs the management's nod, not just the landlord's.

Wireless cameras cut the drilling further but still need power at each point, so a mixed kit — wired where sockets exist, wireless where they do not — is the usual answer for tenants.

Can the landlord demand access to my camera footage?
Inside your rented premises, the recorder, its password and its footage are yours. Cameras in shared or common areas are different — those are reasonably the landlord's system, watching the space every tenant uses.
Will removing the cameras damage the paint or walls?
