What proper WiFi coverage costs
Two access points with cabling, a small PoE switch and configuration for a normal house starts near PKR 55,000. Three or four access points for a larger house or an office floor runs PKR 90,000 to 120,000. Existing structured cabling reduces this considerably, because the cable runs are most of the labour.

The survey is why the number is trustworthy
Access point count comes from a room-by-room signal survey, not from floor area. Concrete and steel decide it, and two buildings of identical size can need one access point or three. A quote given without walking the building is a guess, and it is a guess that will be revised upward on installation day.
Cabling is most of the cost
The access points themselves are a modest part of the total. Running a cable to each position, terminating it and powering it over that cable is where the labour sits. This is why an office that already has structured cabling gets proper WiFi far more cheaply than the headline figure suggests.
What the configuration buys
A channel plan set against the neighbouring networks, transmit power tuned so devices roam cleanly, one network name across the building, and a guest network isolated from cameras and office devices. That work is what separates a system that performs from a set of access points that merely exist.
Where the money is wasted
Buying more access points than the survey calls for, and buying repeaters. Both feel like progress and neither fixes coverage — too many access points at high power cause devices to cling to the wrong one, and repeaters halve throughput per hop. The survey exists to stop both.
How much does a WiFi system cost for a house or office?
Is a market mesh kit cheaper than this?
To buy, yes, and in an open-plan flat it may be all you need. In a concrete house the wireless backhaul fights the same walls your phone does, so the far room stays poor. The comparison is only fair if the mesh units end up wired to each other — at which point the cabling cost returns.
Do I need a PoE switch?
It is what removes a power adapter and a socket at every access point, and it lets you site them where there is no power — which is usually where they need to be. For two or more access points it is the sensible purchase, and it is included in the figures above.
Can you upgrade the WiFi without cabling?
Only by accepting a wireless backhaul, with the throughput penalty that carries. Where a cable genuinely cannot be run we will say so and use mesh knowingly rather than pretending it is equivalent. Often one achievable cable run to a central position transforms what is possible.
Rather have it done?
Proper WiFi coverage means access points placed from a survey and wired back to the switch, not repeaters guessing at each other. A three-access-point house or office runs PKR 55,000 to 120,000 installed, and the survey is what stops it becoming another dead corner.
