WiFi mesh and hotspot coverage in Islamabad and Rawalpindi
Proper WiFi coverage means access points placed from a survey and wired back to the switch, not repeaters guessing at each other. A three-access-point house or office runs PKR 55,000 to 120,000 installed, and the survey is what stops it becoming another dead corner.

Survey the building as it is built
Concrete slabs, brick walls and steel reinforcement — normal construction across the twin cities — absorb 5GHz badly. We measure signal room by room rather than working from floor area, because a 1,500 square foot house with a central concrete core needs a different plan from a 1,500 square foot open floor.
Wire the access points, do not repeat them
Every access point gets a cable back to the switch and takes power over that cable. Wireless repeaters halve throughput at each hop, which is why a house full of repeaters feels slower the further you get from the router. Where a run is genuinely impossible we say so and use a mesh backhaul knowingly, not by default.
Set channels, power and one network name
Channels are picked against what the neighbours are already using — in a plaza or a dense sector that is the single biggest factor. Transmit power is turned down rather than up so devices hand over cleanly, and all access points share one name so a phone roams instead of clinging to a distant radio.
Split guest traffic and walk-test
Guests get their own network that cannot see the office or the cameras. Then we walk the building on a phone, watching the handover and the speed, and move an access point if the walk says to.
What the price covers. PKR 55,000 covers two access points, the cabling to them, a small PoE switch and the configuration for a normal house. Three to four access points for a larger house or an office floor runs PKR 90,000 to 120,000. Existing structured cabling reduces this considerably.

Questions people ask
Will a mesh kit from the market do the same job?
In an open-plan flat, often yes. In a typical concrete house here, the wireless backhaul between units is fighting the same walls your phone is, so throughput drops at each hop and the far room is still poor. Mesh kits work well when their units are wired to each other — at which point you have bought access points with extra steps.
Why does my phone hang onto a weak signal in the far room?
Because phones decide when to roam, and they hold on until the signal is genuinely bad. The fix is turning access point power down so the far radio stops being reachable from the next room, which sounds backwards and is the single most effective adjustment in most homes we survey. Turning power up makes it worse.
Do I need a separate network for guests?
If you have cameras, a recorder, a till or any shared storage, yes. A guest network keeps a visitor's phone — and anything it may be carrying — off the same segment as devices you would not want reached. It costs nothing to configure and it is the cheapest security measure on this list.
