Display boards show the token now serving and which counter to approach, at each position and above the waiting hall. A counter display starts around PKR 18,000 fitted and a multi-line main hall board around PKR 55,000, sized so the back row can read it without standing up.

Measure the room, then size the digits
Digit height is a distance calculation: roughly 25mm of digit for every three metres of viewing distance. We measure from the furthest seat, not from the middle of the room, because the person at the back is the one who stands up and blocks everyone if they cannot read it.
Mount clear of glare and heads
Boards go high enough to clear a standing crowd and angled away from window glare. In plazas with a glass frontage the afternoon sun washes out a badly angled board completely between three and five, which is peak hour in most branches.
Wire data and power in one run
Each board takes power and a data feed from the calling system. Both go in one conduit run back to the counter, so a board never ends up on an extension lead trailing across a public floor.
Set brightness and chime, then check from the seats
Brightness gets set for the room's actual lighting and the chime levelled to carry without startling. Then we sit in the back row and confirm we can read it and hear it, which is the only test that matters.
What the price covers. PKR 18,000 covers one counter-position display fitted and wired. A single-line main hall board runs around PKR 35,000, and a multi-line board showing several tokens at once around PKR 55,000. Prices assume the calling system already exists; boards on their own are not much use without one.

Questions people ask
How big does the main board need to be?
Work from the furthest seat. Around 25mm of digit height for every three metres of distance is the rule that holds in practice, so a fifteen-metre hall wants digits of roughly 125mm. Undersized boards are the most common complaint we get called back to, and the fix is a new board rather than an adjustment.
Can it show something else when the queue is quiet?
Yes — many boards take a scrolling message line, and branches use it for opening hours, a rate or a notice. Keep it short and static enough to read at a glance. A busy scrolling ticker beside a token number makes the token number harder to find, which defeats the board.
Do the boards work if the calling PC fails?
No, and that is worth planning for. The boards display what the calling system tells them, so if that machine dies the boards freeze on the last token. We keep the calling PC on the UPS and, for busy branches, recommend a spare machine with the software already installed — swapping it takes minutes rather than a day.
