Map the services before the hardware
A bank branch with account opening, cash and remittance is three queues, not one, and mixing them is what makes waits feel unfair. We sit with the counter staff and map which services exist, which counters handle which, and how a customer should be routed — that map is the system, the hardware just executes it.
Place the dispenser where people arrive
The dispenser goes at the point people naturally reach first, not tucked beside a counter. If a customer has to ask where to get a token, the queue re-forms in front of the wrong place and the whole system fails on day one.
Install displays people can read from a seat
The main display goes where the waiting seats face, sized so the number is legible from the back row, with a chime that carries over the room. Counter displays go at each position. We check legibility from the furthest seat rather than from the installer's ladder.
Train the counters, then read the first week
Staff learn call, recall and transfer in an afternoon. A week later we pull the reports with you — average wait by service, busiest hour, which counter is carrying the room — because the first month of data almost always changes how the counters are allocated.
What the price covers. PKR 160,000 covers a single-counter installation: dispenser, one main display, one counter display, calling software and setup. Each additional counter is roughly PKR 35,000 to 55,000 including its display. Multi-service routing across several counter groups is quoted after the mapping session.

Questions people ask
Does this actually reduce the wait, or just measure it?
It measures it honestly, and that is what reduces it. The wait itself is a function of counters open against customers arriving — no display changes that. What the system does is stop the queue-jumping arguments, let people sit, and show you in numbers which hour and which service is short-staffed, so the fix is a rota change rather than a guess.
What happens when the power goes?
The dispenser, the calling PC and the main display sit on a UPS, so a normal load-shedding cut does not reset the queue or lose the numbering. Without that, every outage empties the hall and starts an argument about who was next, which is the exact problem the system was bought to solve.
Can it call by name instead of a number?
It can, and for a clinic that is often better — patients respond to a name faster than to a number on a board. It also means the board displays personal information in a public room, which some clinics want and some will not accept. We set it either way; it is a policy decision rather than a technical one.
