What a laptop screen replacement costs
A standard HD panel supplied and fitted starts at PKR 12,000. Full-HD, touch and high-refresh panels run PKR 22,000 to 45,000. The variable that decides the price is the exact panel part number, not the laptop model — the same model often shipped with several different panels.

Why the model number is not enough
Manufacturers fit different panels to the same model across production runs, differing in resolution, connector and backlight. Ordering by laptop model rather than by the panel's own part number is how a screen arrives that physically fits and then works badly or not at all. We read the number off the panel itself before ordering.
What actually moves the price
Resolution first — full-HD costs meaningfully more than HD. Then touch, which is a different assembly entirely. Then high refresh rate on gaming machines, and narrow-bezel panels which are scarcer. Screen size matters less than these three, which surprises people expecting a bigger screen to simply cost more.
Glass, panel and digitiser
On most laptops the glass and the panel are one assembly, so a cracked screen means replacing the whole thing. On touch models there is a separate digitiser layer, and occasionally only that has broken — which is cheaper. Establishing which construction your machine uses before quoting avoids charging for the expensive answer by default.
Compatible panels, honestly
Panels come from a handful of manufacturers and appear under many names, so a correct-specification panel from a different brand is usually fine and saves real money. What causes problems is a panel chosen by physical size rather than part number. The saving is legitimate; the shortcut is not.
How much does it cost to replace a laptop screen?
The screen is cracked but the picture still works. Is it cheaper?
Usually not, because on most laptops the glass and the panel are a single assembly. The exception is a touch model where only the separate digitiser has broken. It is worth checking which construction your machine uses rather than assuming the full replacement price applies.
Is a cheaper compatible screen a false economy?
Not if the part number matches — panels come from a few manufacturers under many names, and a correct-specification panel is a genuine saving. The risk is buying by physical size, which produces a screen that fits and then shows the wrong resolution or a flickering backlight.
How long does a screen replacement take?
Same day where the panel is in stock, and two to four days when it has to be ordered. The fitting itself is short; the wait is sourcing the correct panel. Giving us the panel part number in advance, if you can read it, shortens the sourcing step considerably.
