RAM and storage type matter far more than a processor generation for most office work, and an SSD upgrade on a modest machine beats a faster processor on a slow disk every time.
Be straight about new versus refurbished
Ex-corporate refurbished machines are genuinely good value here — business-grade chassis, keyboards that survive, and often better build than a new consumer machine at the same price. We tell you the age, battery health and what was replaced, so it is a decision rather than a gamble.
Configure before handover
Windows activated and updated, the office software installed, antivirus set, the machine joined to your network and printers added, and a backup configured. A machine handed over in a sealed box is a day of somebody's work you have quietly paid for.
Set up the data move and keep the old machine
Where the machine replaces an existing one, data and settings are moved and verified before the old machine is wiped. We do not wipe anything until you have opened your own files on the new machine.

Questions people ask
Is a refurbished business laptop a false economy?
Not if it is checked properly. Ex-corporate machines were built for daily use and often outlast a new consumer laptop at the same price — better keyboard, better hinges, better cooling. What matters is the disclosure: age, battery health, what was replaced. A seller who will not tell you the battery's cycle count is a seller to walk away from.
What should I upgrade if the budget is tight?
Storage first, then memory. Moving from a mechanical disk to an SSD transforms an ordinary office machine more than any processor upgrade will, and 16GB of RAM keeps a browser-heavy workflow comfortable for years. Processor generation is the last thing worth paying for in normal office work.
How do I know a replacement battery or charger is genuine?
Ask for the part number and the warranty in writing. The counterfeit market here is real, and a fake battery is a fire risk rather than merely a poor buy — they run hot, swell and fail early. We supply genuine or reputable-brand equivalents with the part number on the invoice, so what you were sold is checkable.
