Build the parts list from the work
An accounts machine and a video-editing machine share almost nothing. We write the list against the software you actually run, and we say where extra spend stops making a difference — most office builds are better served by a bigger SSD than by a faster processor.
Do not economise on the power supply
This is where cheap builds fail, and here more than most places: our supply has dips and surges, and a poor power supply passes them through to everything else. A quality unit costs a few thousand more and protects a machine worth many times that.
Assemble, cable and burn in
Assembled with proper airflow and tidy cabling, then run under sustained load with temperatures watched. Dust and summer heat here are hard on a badly ventilated case, and a machine that throttles at forty degrees ambient is one that was never load-tested.
Configure and document the build
Operating system, drivers, office software, antivirus, network and backup. You get the parts list with model numbers and individual warranties, which is what makes a single component replaceable later without arguing about it.
What the price covers. PKR 65,000 covers a capable office desktop: current-generation processor, 16GB RAM, SSD, quality power supply, assembled, tested and configured. A design or development machine with a discrete GPU runs PKR 180,000 upward. Monitor, keyboard and UPS are quoted separately.

Questions people ask
Built desktop or branded machine?
For an office, built — every rupee goes into components rather than a bundle, and each part is individually replaceable from any market here. Branded makes sense where you need a single warranty contact for fifty machines and an on-site service contract. For under about ten machines, built wins on both cost and repairability.
Does the power supply really matter that much?
More here than in most places. Our mains has dips, surges and abrupt returns after load-shedding, and a cheap power supply passes all of that downstream into the board, the drive and the memory. It is the component that quietly kills the others, and the upgrade costs a few thousand rupees on a machine worth many times that.
Can you upgrade my existing desktop instead?
Often yes, and it is usually the cheaper answer. An SSD and a memory upgrade transform a machine that is otherwise sound, for a fraction of a rebuild. We check the board's limits first and tell you honestly when a machine is old enough that the upgrade money is better put toward a new build.
