Repair & recovery
Laptop and PC repair in Islamabad and Rawalpindi
Laptop and PC repair covers machines that will not power on, overheat, shut down under load, blue-screen or have simply become unusably slow. Diagnosis at our H-15 bench is PKR 1,500, deducted from the repair, and you get a written quote before anything is opened further.

Diagnose in order, cheapest cause first
Power delivery, then storage, then memory, then thermals, then board. Most machines that arrive labelled 'motherboard dead' by a previous shop have a failed charger, a dying SSD or a heatsink packed solid with dust. Working in that order is what keeps the bill honest.
Image the disk before touching anything else
If the drive is at all suspect it gets imaged before any repair attempt. Repairs sometimes make a marginal drive fail completely, and losing a customer's data to fix their machine is not a repair. The image costs us time and saves the thing they actually care about.
Quote before working, replace before repair only when it is right
One written figure once the fault is known. Where a machine is not economic to fix — a board fault on an old low-end laptop, say — we say so with the cost of both options rather than doing the work and letting you discover it.
Clean, repaste and burn in before return
Every machine leaving the bench has been dusted, had its thermal paste renewed if it was opened, and run under sustained load with temperatures watched. Machines here fail from heat and dust more than anything else, and a repair that ignores that comes back.
What the price covers. PKR 1,500 is bench diagnosis and it comes off the bill if you proceed. Typical completed repairs run PKR 4,000 to 15,000 depending on the part. Board-level work is quoted separately after inspection — that sits on our chip-level page. Collection and return within Islamabad or Rawalpindi is available for a callout charge.

Questions people ask
Another shop said the motherboard is dead. Is it?
Sometimes, but far less often than it is diagnosed. 'Motherboard' is where a diagnosis stops when there is no bench equipment to go further, and it is the answer that sells a replacement machine. We test power delivery rails, storage and memory first and tell you which of those it actually is — a good share of these machines leave with a charger or an SSD.
My laptop shuts down when it gets busy. Why?
Heat, almost always. Dust packs the heatsink fins solid and thermal paste dries out, so the machine hits its limit and protects itself by shutting down. It is one of the cheapest repairs there is and one of the most commonly misdiagnosed as a failing processor or a virus. Our climate makes it the single most frequent fault we see.
Will I lose my data?
Not if the drive is imaged first, which is what we do whenever there is any doubt about it. Repairs can push a marginal drive over the edge, so the copy comes before the work. If your data matters and the machine is not booting, say so when you drop it in and we will treat recovery as the priority rather than the repair.
