Biometric access control in Islamabad and Rawalpindi
Biometric access control replaces keys with a fingerprint or face reader on the door, so entry is granted per person and logged with a timestamp. A single office door with reader, electromagnetic lock, exit button and backup power runs PKR 35,000 to 60,000 fitted in Islamabad, depending on the lock and the door.

Survey the door before the reader
The door decides the hardware, not the other way round. A hollow wooden office door takes a 280kg magnetic lock; a heavy glass shopfront needs a patch fitting and a different bracket; a steel gate needs an electric bolt. We measure the leaf, check the frame and confirm there is a mains point within reach before quoting anything.
Decide what happens when power fails
This is the question most quotes skip. A magnetic lock is fail-safe — it releases when power drops, which is what a fire route requires. An electric bolt is fail-secure and stays locked. We agree which behaviour each door needs in writing, because getting it backwards means either a door that will not open in a fire or one that opens itself during load-shedding.
Fit, wire and back up
Reader, lock, exit button and door contact are wired back to the controller in conduit, and the controller sits on its own small UPS. Islamabad's grid means an access system without backup power is a system that unlocks itself several times a week.

We enrol every user in front of you, set the access groups — who gets in on a Sunday, who does not — and show you how to remove a leaver in under a minute. You get the admin password; we do not keep it.
What the price covers. PKR 35,000 covers one interior office door: fingerprint reader, 280kg magnetic lock, exit button, power supply and fitting. A glass door needs patch fittings and lands nearer PKR 60,000. Face-recognition readers add PKR 18,000 to 40,000, and each additional door on the same controller is roughly PKR 22,000.

Questions people ask
What happens to the door during load-shedding?
Nothing, if it was installed properly. The controller and lock run from a small UPS sized for several hours, so the door keeps behaving the way it does on mains. Systems fitted without that backup unlock every time the power cuts — which in most of Islamabad is a daily event, and it is the single most common fault we are called out to.
Fingerprints or face — which actually works better here?
Fingerprints fail on hands that are wet, dusty or heavily worked, which is why a warehouse or a workshop is usually better on cards or face. Face readers cope with that but want consistent lighting and cost more. For an office of desk staff, fingerprint is cheaper and entirely adequate.
Can it feed attendance and payroll?
Yes, and this is usually the real reason people buy it. The same readers export daily in and out times, and we can wire that into attendance software so payroll stops being a monthly argument over a register. That side of the work lives on our attendance and payroll page.
