Cards suit staff who already carry a badge. Keypad codes suit a store room a handful of people use. Both together suits a goods entrance where drivers need occasional access without being issued a card. We recommend one and explain what the other would cost you in day-to-day hassle.
Fit the reader and lock to the door you have
Same rule as any access job: the door dictates the lock. Roller shutters and steel workshop doors take a different bolt from an office leaf, and a door that already sags will not hold a magnetic lock's alignment — we say so before fitting rather than after it starts releasing on its own.
Wire, back up and test the exit route
Reader, lock, exit button and break-glass unit run in conduit to the controller, which sits on a UPS. We test the break-glass and the exit button with the power off, because a door that only opens while there is electricity is a fire risk, not a security feature.

What the price covers. PKR 28,000 covers one door with a card reader, magnetic lock, exit button, break-glass and ten cards. A keypad-only door is slightly less. Heavy steel or shutter doors need a different bolt and land nearer PKR 45,000. Extra cards are around PKR 250 each.

Questions people ask
A card was lost over the weekend. What now?
You cancel it yourself from the software in about thirty seconds and issue a replacement — that is the whole point of cards over keys. Nothing needs re-keying and no locksmith is involved. With a physical key the same event means changing the lock and re-cutting keys for everyone.
Are keypad codes secure enough on their own?
For a store room shared by four people, yes, provided the code changes when someone leaves. For a main entrance, no — codes get shared, watched over a shoulder and written on the frame. Use codes where convenience matters and cards or biometrics where accountability does.
Can one system run cards on some doors and fingerprints on others?
Yes, and it is usually the right answer. Office doors on fingerprint, the warehouse entrance on cards because hands are dirty, the store room on a keypad. One controller and one user list covers all of them, so a leaver is removed once and loses every door at the same moment.
