Solar Panel Installation
Solar installation covers the survey, the panels, the mounting structure, DC and AC wiring, protection and commissioning. A 3kW on-grid system in Islamabad starts near PKR 350,000 complete, and the figure that matters is the one that includes structure and wiring rather than panels alone.

On-Grid, Off-Grid & Hybrid
On-grid is cheapest and dies with the grid. Off-grid runs independently but needs a battery bank sized for the worst week of the year. Hybrid does both and is what most Islamabad households actually want. Choosing between them changes the price more than any other decision on a solar quote.

Inverter & Battery Bank Setup
The inverter and battery bank are where a solar system is won or lost: sizing, ventilation, cabling and protection decide whether the bank lasts eight years or three. A lithium bank with a hybrid inverter installed properly starts near PKR 320,000 for a household essential load.

Net Metering Application
Net metering lets your meter run backwards when you export, crediting units against what you draw at night. Getting it approved means a licensed application to IESCO with the right drawings and a bidirectional meter installed. The service runs PKR 35,000 to 60,000, separate from the DISCO's own charges.

Panel Cleaning & Servicing
Dust is the biggest single cause of lost output on a Pakistani rooftop, and a dirty array can shed a meaningful share of its generation before anyone notices. A clean-and-check visit runs PKR 6,000 to 15,000 depending on array size, and it includes the electrical checks a wash alone misses.

Inverter & Panel Repair
When a solar system stops producing, the fault is usually the inverter, a string connector or a tripped protection device rather than the panels themselves. Diagnosis in Islamabad or Rawalpindi starts at PKR 5,000, taken off the bill if you go ahead with the repair.
